The Shannon Shoe Stopper :  A Whimsical Installation Satirizing the World of Autocorrect When:  November 12th - 26th Time:  Opening night Saturday, Nov. 12th from 6-9 What:  This Installation Show is a new direction for visual artist Shannon Burke.  The Shoe Stopper Show evolved and came about via an auto-correct mishap of the artist asking a friend, "What do you think about my having "The Shannon Shoe"?  Meaning to read as "The Shannon Show".  Shifting away from a body of recent fine art work to this conceptual installation show is the backbone inspiration for the Shoe.  This is also a collaboritive show sharing family, community and friends foibles who are the authors of several of these mishaps.  Submit your Autocorrect Foible, Fexting disaster, Email Autocorrect or typo silliness.  Let me know if you want your name included or remain anonymous.  Your words will be printed out and laser etched onto plexiglass and displayed within the installation.  Come on it will be fun!  Send one for the SHOE!
